05 Jan Mindfulness Meditation 8 Week Workshop

Paying attention has never been so difficult! Mindfulness is a practice, “the intentional, accepting and non-judgemental focus of one’s attention on the emotions, thoughts and sensations occurring in the present moment”, which can be trained by meditational practices. A practice of training the mind to focus in the present moment, to pay attention on purpose.
Cultivates greater awareness of ourselves and our inner experience as we relate to our external world. Becoming more curious and watchful, slowing down and connecting to ourselves with greater intimacy, allows us the opportunity to pay attention to what is important. We may not be able to alter or control the fast paced external world, but we can plant seeds of intention and cultivate a calmer, more grounded inner stillness to return to again and again. It only takes a moment!
